RECEPTIONIST/SCHEDULER
Compensation: $18 p/hour plus tips
Hours: Part or full-time hours available, including weekends
Dog grooming and self-serve bathing facility located on Bend’s Westside is seeking an energetic, friendly, honest, caring and hard-working individual. We are a neighborhood business that provides clean, friendly, safe, and most importantly, compassionate and gentle dog grooming and are looking for someone who can share our mission and believe in the culture of our company.
Duties & Responsibilities

Answer phones and schedule bathing and grooming appointments

Check-in/out customers before and after appointments

Assist U-Wash (self-serve) customers with bathing process

Ensure U-Wash area is clean and ready for next customer including clean brushes, shampoos and fresh towels

Ensure all grooming tools are clean, dry and put away

Ensure shampoos and conditioners are full

Clean and sanitize kennel mats

Laundering and folding towels

Cleaning (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, windows, as needed)

Assist bathers and groomers (as needed) with nail trims, ear cleaning, brushing teeth and watching dogs (we will train the right person)
Qualifications

Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook

Mature, reliable and comfortable in dealing with clients and their dogs

Computer Skills

MS Office, Internet and email, ability to learn POS software quickly and efficiently
BATHER
Compensation: $15 - $17 p/hour plus tips — PTO and medical benefits

Provide bathing services on all size dogs and breeds, including ear cleaning, nail trimming, gland expression, and teeth brushing

Maintain detailed records of each bath in our POS system

Keep grooming, bathing and kennel areas well sanitized, clean and safe from potential hazards
Qualifications

At least one year professional pet bathing experience preferred; will train the right candidate

Comfortable working with clients and dogs of all shapes, sizes and ages

Safe and gentle animal-handling skills

Able to work independently as well as with a team

Basic computer literacy and ability to learn POS software quickly and efficiently

Compensation: 50% commission plus tips — PTO and medical benefits
